A North Texas Home for Cowboy Mounted Shooting
Texas Smokin' Guns is a community of riders, families and friends who share a love of horses, Western tradition and friendly competition.
Rooted in Texas, Built on Horsemanship
Texas Smokin' Guns was founded by riders who wanted a club where the sport could grow without losing its Western soul.
Based in the North Texas community of Paradise, Texas, our club brings together competitors, families and newcomers from across the region. Some of our members have been shooting from the saddle for decades; others picked up the sport just last year.
What unites everyone is a genuine respect for horses and a belief that competition should be fun, safe and welcoming. We host club shoots, clinics and sanctioned events throughout the season, and we're always happy to see a new face at the arena.
From youth riders to grandmasters, Texas Smokin' Guns is a place where the whole family can take part in the sport they love.
The Values Behind the Club
Horsemanship First
Everything we do starts with a well-trained, well-treated horse and a rider who respects the partnership.
Family Friendly
Cowboy Mounted Shooting is one of the few sports the whole family can take part in and enjoy together.
Good Sportsmanship
We compete hard, celebrate each other's wins, and help every rider get better — from beginners to champions.
Western Tradition
We honor the heritage of the American West in how we ride, how we dress, and how we welcome visitors.
Come Meet the Club
The best way to get to know Texas Smokin' Guns is to join us at an event. Spectators are always welcome.
